New York Public Library

The Rose Main Reading Room

The final stop on our Arthur Friedheim research trip was the famous Schwarzman Building of the New York Public Library, right in the centre of midtown Manhattan. I was chasing a lead on a newspaper interview published in 1910. The library has preserved thousands of newspapers on Microfilm, which are accessible in person at the library. What a great privilege to be able to do research in such a beautiful building!
