Historical Keyboard Showcase

Today I played La Fileuse by Joachim Raff (1822-1882) on the magnificent Fazioli concert grand in a historical keyboard showcase concert presented by Prof Geoffrey Lancaster at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), alongside Izaac Masters, Jordan Proctor, Tom O'Halloran and Xavier Douglas-Smith. The concert showcased the 1805 Walter fortepiano replica by Paul McNulty, an original 1824 Broadwood recently restored by Pianos Maene, a c. 1970 Fender Rhodes and c. 1970 Minimoog Model D. A fabulous concert!
